Get ready to join me as I reminisce about our incredible journey, filled with 8th grade experiences, delicious food, and the most iconic places these cities have to offer!

  1. Sightseeing Extravaganza: From the moment we arrived in Washington DC, we were blown away by the rich history and grandeur of the city. We visited the National Mall, where we saw the awe-inspiring monuments and memorials dedicated to our nation's heroes. The Washington Monument stood tall, and we couldn't resist snapping some epic selfies. We also explored the fascinating exhibits at the Smithsonian Museums, immersing ourselves in art, science, and history.

  2. Historic Adventures: Walking the same streets as our nation's founders was an experience like no other! We visited the U.S. Capitol and stood on the steps where history is made. Inside, we learned about our government and the power of democracy. At the White House, we marveled at the iconic building and pretended we were meeting the President. It was a chance to see firsthand the places we had only seen on TV.

  3. Foodie Heaven: Let's not forget about the mouthwatering food we devoured on our trip! In New York City, we indulged in classic street foods like hot dogs and pretzels. And who can resist a slice of authentic New York-style pizza? We ventured into Chinatown, savoring delicious dumplings and exploring the vibrant markets. In Washington DC, we treated ourselves to delectable cupcakes from Georgetown Cupcake, a sweet reward for our hard work in middle school.

  4. Broadway Dreams: One of the highlights of our trip was the unforgettable Broadway experience. We scored tickets to a live performance and were swept away by the mesmerizing music, dazzling costumes, and incredible talent. The energy in the theater was electric, and we couldn't help but sing along to our favorite show tunes. It was a dream come true for theater enthusiasts like us!

  5. Squad Goals: Our trip wouldn't have been complete without the unforgettable memories we made together. From late-night talks in our hotel rooms to silly selfies at famous landmarks, we strengthened the bonds of friendship that will carry us into high school. We shared laughter, inside jokes, and a whole lot of "remember when" moments. Exploring these cities with our classmates made the experience even more special.
