WEARING A MASK

Yes, we are talking about wearing a mask again. Want to know why?

The pandemic is spreading again worse than ever before. With over 15,271,571 new cases every day over the past week and over 288,762 deaths in the U.S alone, there's something you can do to help:

WEAR. A. MASK.

So, why wear one?

For starters, it's basic human decency. Wearing a mask is less about protecting yourself and more about protecting those around you. If you know anyone with any health condition, it should be a no-brainer that you want to protect their life. The only way to slow the spread is to wear a mask and stay at home as much as possible.

THE SCIENCE & POTENTIAL SPREADING

Studies have consistently shown that wearing a mask significantly reduces the spread of the virus.

Every time you talk, caught, sneeze, sing, or yell, droplets leave your mouth and risk infecting others.

Did you know that without a mask, a cough travels?!

*A mask disrupts the trajectory of a cough, sneeze, or breath and captures those droplets before they can land on someone else.

Truth

Wearing a mask is such a small ask to protect yourself and everyone around you. REMEMBER: You can be asymptomatic and still spread the virus.

There is clear evidence that masks are a simple barrier to help prevent the spread of the virus. There is no evidence to suggest that masks make it harder to breathe or reduce your oxygen levels for most people.

IF YOU WANT TO….

Stay healthy: Wear a mask

Protect your family: Wear a mask.

Protect your friends: Wear a mask.

Go to a concert: Wear a mask.

Go to a bar: Wear a mask.

Go to the beach: Wear a mask.

Go to a restaurant: Wear a mask.

Go back to school: Wear a mask.
